Mountmellick One-Day Tournament 2009

On Saturday March 14th The Volleyball Association held the second ever Mountmellik One-Day Tournament. The tournament was held over one day and was open to all players from recreational level up to National League Division 1 Level. There were three sections to the competition, Women's, Men's & Mixed - See below for the list of teams

The day started with the pool sections moving to semi-finals and then to the finals. Credit must go to each team that played in the tournament as each game was played in great spirit and also showcased the high standard of volleyball being played. After several hours of playing we were down to the six finalists. All three of the finals were extremley exciting and entertaining leaving the spectators on the edge of their seats but three teams came out the victors

The Volleyball Association would like to thank all the teams that took part in the competition and hopefully we will see you all next year for the third Mountmellick One-Day Tournament.
